Sounds like this mashup's auteur, Shakes McFadden, could use a day off of his own. Link & blockquote via BENJI Films...
When I first posted this, I was going to write why it is the length it is, but figured it did not matter. now, after so many people feel the need to let me know how they feel about the 4 mins+ trailer, I have decided to share the reasons why it is the way it is.
Now don't get me wrong, I have no problem accepting criticism, I welcome it, but since I have a reason for this particular one, I figured I would post it. To quote Dr. Frankenfurter in RHPS when first showing off Rocky and met with Janet stating he was not her type of guy:"I didn't make him for you!".
The trailer was not edited down to 2 or 3 minutes, because it was the perfect length for my target audience: me.

Jesus Christ
Positives: Impressive stamina. Historically known for taking a beating, staying on his feet. Has history of miraculous resurrection.
Negatives: Invented Pacifism. Dangerous habit of turning the other cheek.
Charles Darwin
Positives: Invented Natural Selection. Understands what's at stake with "Survival of the Fittest".
Negatives: Theology student, nearly became an Anglican parson. Mixed feelings punching his Lord's Only Son and Savior in the face.

When the weather turned violent and stormy on Tuesday evening, Lori Mehmen, who lives in the small farming town of Orchard in northeastern Iowa, looked out her front door and saw a funnel cloud bearing down — and evidently had the presence of mind to grab her digital camera and capture this shot before taking cover. The local paper, The Mitchell County Press-News, posted the photo on Wednesday and The Associated Press picked it up today.

A lot of THC, I mean TLC, went into this. Enjoy (I did)! Link via BLU. Blockquote via Geekologie...
This is an artistic stop motion video made entirely of wall paintings. It's pretty damn impressive. It made me kind of motion sick, but that was a small price to pay for the incredible awesomeness. A freaking ton of time, effort and ability went into this piece. Almost as much as my last artistic venture, which was a can of orange juice concentrate I glued popsicle sticks to and wrote on in puffy paint. I gave it to my mom for Mother's Day. I tried calling her to see if she liked it, but I think she's blocked my number.
